What a huge waste of time and money to trade your working car in as a clunker, they destroy the cars that are traded in and I think that is a huge waste. I will just keep my paid for clunker and drive it for a few more years, instead of having a good working car destroyed. I would trade it in if the worked on the cars and got them to low income people who need working cars, clunker or not. In my opinion everything being forced on us by this President is a waste of time and money. How long before the next election? No soon enough!

Finally we have got some football on TV and I am amazed at the players who have changed teams this year. Not including Brett Farve who will wind up playing again this year. I hope he has a good season but I fear it will be more like the end of last year when he left the Jets at the edge of the playoffs with a late season collapse. My teams will be hard pressed to play as well as they did last year, the Titans went 13-3 and the Cards made the Super Bowl. I hope we have similar results again this year.

I hate the shows that are on TV during the summer time, except for a couple, Big Brother is one that I never miss and if I am forced to miss a show I catch it on demand or on the CBS web site. This season is tough for me all of the people that I was cheering for have been voted off except Jeff and I hope that he can hang on and win the money. I was very glad when Jessie was voted out I do not like when they bring back people from an earlier season and I was very happy to see him voted off this season.

Since I am in the delivery business, when the price of almost anything goes up it drives up my cost to do business. The one item this is the most true about is the rising price of gasoline. Every penny that gasoline goes up that is one less penny that I make each day. The cost of doing business in my field is going up again and I am not sure that my small company can survive if the price of gasoline gets much above $3.00 a gallon, it is at $2.54 right now and going up every day it seems, I shall have to wait and see if I can make it through these tough times.

The Tennessee Titans have started training camp and for avid football fans like me this is the start of the best time of year. From now until February it will be wall to wall football, and I love it. I played football from the time I was in the 8th grade until I was 23 so it was a huge part of my life and I still fell a part of it, especially this time of year, I get very excited to see how the teams will stand when the long season is over after the Super bowl.
